CoT MESSAGE:
It has been a while since we talked about the concept of shield lock. Locking shields was a tactic that ancient warriors used. The locking of their shields formed a larger area of protection that benefited each soldier more than just using their own shield. In F3, it is a concept that describes how men can lean on each other during tough times in their lives such as marital problems, fatherhood, parental death, or even just career stress. It is a simple phrase to describe how one man’s valley can be overcome by leaning on a brother’s peak, and vice-versa. Today, we stuck together through a tough workout. Yes, it was only 45 minutes of physical exercise that we chose to undertake, but it builds the shield lock nonetheless. In tough times, we will learn to rely on each other. In good times, we can learn to offer help to each other. That is the power of the shield lock, and we will be talking much more about this as we continue to grow here in Geneva.
PRAYER:
“Dear God, we thank you for this beautiful day. We are grateful for our able bodies and for our F3 brothers beside us. We pray for your continued grace and blessings. Please guide us to Live 3rd and to make the daily choice to confront the difficult tasks and decision in our lives. Remind us that we are strongest when we rely upon each other. Remind us that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but of strength. We pray for the health of our families, our F3 brothers, and our neighbors. In your heavenly name we pray, Amen.”
MOLESKIN: We set a weekday record of 8 Pax today. It feels awesome to see it growing and it brings a totally different feeling having more brothers to lean on during a workout. Spirit Award for the day goes to Sunshine for not giving an HC, but doing EC running on his own before posting. Kenny G. didn’t roll his ankles on the tennis courts today, and Dr. Evil’s hand is healing up. And boy are we in trouble when he gets back on Q…
