Today was filled with plenty of Dad jokes centered around Gertrude! We also were joined by Slingshot’s 2.0 (Moonshot). Moonshot was given the important responsibility of setting pace for the rest of the PAX throughout our time together.
Motivators x7, Tappy Taps x15, Batwings x 15, Michael Phelps OYO, 2 laps around the school to set a slow pace.
Today’s a Thang can be a variation of a few workouts: Baton Death March, Indian Run, Devin Hester, etc. PAX formed a line. Moonshot remained at front of the pack as our pace setter. As the line moseyed around the AO, last PAX drops to do 5 merkins. That PAX then carries Gertrude, 60 lb. sandbag, and moseys to the end of the line to make a handoff to the next PAX. Rinse and repeat around the AO until everyone’s had a turn carrying Gertrude.
To wrap up PAX formed a line in Bear Crawl position. Last PAX pulls Gertrude up to the next PAX in line and then bear crawls to the front of the line. Rinse and repeat until all have gone for distance and time.
MoM: Exercises for time – Thighmasters (Suzanne Somers), Glute Bridges, Snake Pose, Bird Dog, Dead Bugs

Being intentional about checking in with out children. We often think or assume that we know what they’re going through or that they are doing okay. Often times, we don’t ask them about their day.
